OUR SERVICES
Interior & Exterior Painting
Our interior and exterior painting services are built around thorough preparation, quality workmanship and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a finish that not only looks beautiful but is also durable and long-lasting. Every project begins with a careful assessment of the surfaces, followed by the necessary preparation such as pressure washing, removing loose or peeling paint, scraping, sanding, filling cracks and imperfections, repairing damaged areas, and applying the appropriate primers where required. For exterior surfaces, we pay particular attention to the challenges of coastal environments, including salt, moisture, mould and fungal growth, selecting suitable products and preparation methods to provide additional protection. For interiors, we take care to properly prepare walls, ceilings, doors, frames and other surfaces. We use quality paints and application techniques suited to each specific surface and environment, and our team takes pride in achieving clean lines, even coverage and a professional finish. From a single room refresh to a complete interior or exterior repaint, YDIY approaches every project with the same commitment to careful preparation, attention to detail and reliable workmanship — because we believe the difference between an average paint job and a great one is in the preparation and the details.
Flooring
We offer professional flooring installation and repair services for a wide range of flooring types, helping you transform your floors while ensuring a durable and high-quality finish. Whether you are replacing worn or damaged flooring, repairing an existing floor or installing completely new flooring, our team takes the time to ensure every project is completed properly from the ground up. We understand that the quality of a finished floor depends heavily on the preparation underneath it, which is why we carefully assess and prepare the existing surface before installation. This may include removing old flooring, repairing damaged areas, levelling uneven surfaces, preparing subfloors and ensuring the base is clean, stable and suitable for the new flooring. We can work with a variety of flooring options, including tiles, laminate, vinyl, engineered and other flooring solutions, and we take particular care with accurate measurements, straight lines, neat edges, transitions and finishing details. Where possible, we can also repair existing flooring rather than replacing it entirely, providing a practical and cost-effective solution.
Ceilings
We offer professional ceiling installation, repairs and refurbishment, helping to restore damaged ceilings or create a completely new look for your home. Whether you need to replace an old or damaged ceiling, repair cracks, water damage or sagging sections, or install a new ceiling as part of a renovation, our team focuses on quality workmanship and a clean, professional finish. Every project starts with a thorough assessment of the existing ceiling and supporting structure so that underlying issues can be identified and addressed before any work begins. We can assist with a variety of ceiling solutions, including PVC, iso-board, knotty Pine, fibre-cement and decorative ceiling finishes, as well as the installation and finishing of cornices and other trim details. Particular attention is given to accurate measurements, secure fixing, neat joints, smooth finishing and clean lines, ensuring the completed ceiling integrates seamlessly with the rest of the room.
Paving
We offer professional paving installation and create attractive, practical and durable outdoor areas. Whether you are installing a new patio, pathway, driveway, entertainment area or pool surround, our team pays close attention to the preparation and foundation work that determines the quality and longevity of the finished surface. We carefully prepare the area by removing unsuitable material, establishing the correct levels and falls for drainage, preparing and compacting the sub-base, and ensuring a stable foundation before the paving is laid. We can work with a wide range of paving styles and materials, helping you achieve a finish that complements your home and outdoor space. For existing paving, we can repair damaged or uneven areas, lift and relay sections where necessary, address movement or sinking, and restore tired-looking surfaces. Particular attention is given to straight lines, consistent spacing, accurate levels, neat edges and finishing details to ensure a professional result.
General Home Maintenance
We provide a comprehensive range of general home maintenance services to keep your property looking its best, functioning properly and well cared for. We understand that maintaining a home often involves a long list of smaller repairs and improvements, which is why we offer a convenient, reliable service for tackling those jobs that can easily be overlooked or put off. From repairing damaged walls, doors, windows and fixtures to replacing worn or broken components, fixing leaks, attending to minor building work, sealing and waterproofing, and completing general repairs and improvements, our experienced team can assist with a wide variety of maintenance requirements. We take pride in doing the job properly rather than simply providing a temporary solution, carefully assessing the cause of a problem and carrying out the necessary preparation before completing the repair. Attention to detail, neat workmanship and respect for your home are central to every project, with our team taking care to protect surrounding areas and leave the work area clean and tidy.
Roofing
Ydiy provides professional roofing services, including the installation of new roof sheets, roof repairs, maintenance and waterproofing. We understand that a roof is one of the most important elements protecting your home, particularly in coastal environments where salt, wind, moisture and harsh weather can accelerate wear and deterioration. Every roofing project begins with a thorough inspection to identify damaged or deteriorating sheets, leaks, rust, loose or damaged fixings, failing seals and other potential problem areas. Where required, we can remove and replace damaged roof sheets, install new roofing, repair flashing and joints, replace or repair fixings, and address areas where water may be entering the property. Our waterproofing services are focused on proper preparation and long-term protection, including cleaning and preparing surfaces, sealing vulnerable areas, treating problem joints and penetrations, and applying suitable waterproofing products to create a reliable barrier against moisture. We pay close attention to falls, overlaps, screws, flashings, edges and other common areas where water ingress can occur, rather than simply treating the visible leak.
Renovations
We offer complete home renovation services, helping homeowners transform outdated, damaged or tired spaces into beautiful, functional areas that suit their needs and lifestyle. Whether you are looking to renovate a single room, modernise a kitchen or bathroom, update an outdoor living area or undertake a larger property transformation, we can assist with the various stages of the project. Our approach focuses on careful planning, quality workmanship and attention to detail, ensuring that every element of the renovation is completed to a high standard. From demolition and preparation through to building work, ceilings, flooring, painting, tiling, carpentry, repairs and finishing touches, we can coordinate and complete a wide range of renovation requirements. We understand that successful renovations depend on getting the preparation and underlying work right, so we take the time to properly assess existing structures and surfaces before work begins. We also place great importance on clean workmanship, accurate finishing and ensuring that the different elements of the renovation work together seamlessly.
